Public Notice of Airport Commission Meeting - The next Airport Commission Meeting is scheduled for Monday, July 27th at 4:00 p.m. in the Dubuque Jet Center conference room.

Jason Gillet - Jason Gillett, Dubuque Regional Airport Operations Specialist, has met all qualifications for becoming a Certified Member, (C.M.) from the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE). Jason has successfully passed the 180 question multiple-choice exam which is comprised of information contained in the Body of Knowledge modules, and measures a candidate’s comprehensive knowledge of airport management, regardless of airport size. Jason also received his Airport Certified Employee (ACE) certification this year. The Airport Certified Employee -Security program, or ACE, is a comprehensive curriculum designed to educate and challenge aviation personnel with security responsibilities for airports, air carriers, and indirect air carriers. This comprehensive security course addresses various aspects in aviation security such as security administration, airport security, domestic and foreign air carrier security, catering and cargo (indirect air carrier) security and general aviation security. AAAE's Accredited Airport Executive program commands respect in the airport industry. Since 1954, AAAE has been committed to the advancement of aviation professionals by granting the A.A.E. designation to those who have demonstrated their ability to handle the responsibilities of airport management, regardless of airport size. Jason began work at the Dubuque Regional Airport in March 2003. Prior to his appointment in Dubuque, Jason worked as an Airport Operations Officer at Tweed-New Haven Regional Airport.
