| Timely Tips about Flying out of Dubuque
DBQ Airport Open House/EAA Fly-In/Drive-In Breakfast -
The Dubuque Regional Airport will be hosting a free Open House on Sunday, September 12, 2010 from 7 a.m. – 1 p.m.
The Airport will exhibit the following businesses and organizations: Civil Air Patrol, University of Dubuque Aviation Department, Experimental Aircraft Association, Iowa Flight Training, Key City Flyers, American Eagle Airlines, University of Iowa Helicopter, Transportation Security Administration, Fly DBQ Café, and Tri-State Sky-Divers.
Multiple aircraft and equipment will be on display on the airport ramp along with several aircraft in the Dubuque Jet Center Hangar.
Aircraft rides will be available, weather pending, through Iowa Flight Training for $25 per person. For more information contact Tim Busch at 319-373-3971.

The Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Chapter 327 will have their 21st annual EAA Pancake Fly-In/Drive-in Breakfast also on Sunday, September 12, 2010. Breakfast will be served from 7 a.m. – 12 p.m. in the Blue Skies over Dubuque Hangar, 11000 Airport Road, Dubuque.
Funds raised by the breakfast go to support aviation promotion activities to include the Young Eagles program. Breakfast costs $6 for adults, $3 for children 6-12, and children under age 5 are free.
The public is encouraged to attend this fun-filled family event.
