The Dubuque Area Chamber of Commerce and the Dubuque Regional Airport are excited to announce American Airlines flights are resuming at the Dubuque Regional Airport beginning January 6, 2021.

Molly Grover, Dubuque Area Chamber of Commerce CEO and President states “We’re thrilled to have American Airlines return to the Tri States. The return of air service marks a significant milestone in the continued recovery from COVID -19.”

Dubuque Regional Airport Director, Todd Dalsing expressed “The Dubuque Regional Airport is committed to giving our travelers peace of mind. Passenger health and safety have always been a priority and our staff continue to go above and beyond following all CDC, state and local public health safety standards by implementing cleaning enhancements to ensure a safe and healthy experience at DBQ.”

Travelers can book today for flights out of DBQ beginning January 6, 2021 at www.aa.com. American has a reduced flight schedule and will continue to evaluate their network as according to passenger demand.

American Airlines aircraft receive electrostatic spraying with an EPA-approved disinfectant. High-touch and public areas like tray tables, seatbelt buckles, armrests, window shades, seatback screens, doors and overhead bin handles continue to be cleaned before every flight.

When flying Dubuque, passengers can take advantage of free parking, less congestion, and cost-effective travel. Please remember to wear face coverings, wash hands frequently and practice social distancing and other prevention measures such as hand sanitizing to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
